The big difference(s) between this chili and the last? Fattier ground beef, more sweet peppers, the wine, the corn, less bok choy (all I had in the garden), less hot peppers (again, all I had), more tomatoes. I'd have added more stuff, but I'd have needed to switch to the wok - my largest frying pan was almost overflowing. Only four more ounces, weight-wise.
Next time, I borrow the dotter's kitchen and her Texas Skillet. More sweet peppers, more hot peppers, more tomatoes, leaner ground beef, more garlic, mushroom pieces, leeks, shallots, more onion, more habanero powder - more stuff.
