I Have Endured Another Chili

The red fire peppers above were only half the ones that went into this chili. "Insanely hot" still describes them. When I finished cooking the chili, I discovered that my reaction to insane heat in my food is the hiccups and a runny nose. It was worth it.


The INGREDIANT LIST


Added up, it's 7.3 pounds of chili. One of the dishes I grew up on was "Stuffed Seabags." You might recognize them as "Stuffed Green Peppers." What I plan is to buy some red and yellow sweet bell peppers, mix up some chili and [Uncle] Ben's Rice - I have a family size Jasmine rice pouch - and stuff the colorful peppers with the chili and rice, top with cheese and bake.
