More Leftovers. They're Even More Endured.

Today's straight-to-fridge meal(s): Chili. This one was simple and mostly followed the I Can't Believe It's Not Chili recipe. lean hamburger, onion, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and green chilies, sweet red pepper, sesame oil and chili oil, and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.


For lunch I finished off the STEWped Chicken. For first supper, I broiled a couple of hamburger patties, add a slice of onion and a slice of tomato to each. Then I made a quick dash to my FNFL for more water, some steaks, and such-like. I am no longer out of jalapeño peppers, but they still had no tuna steaks. Oh, and I bought some coarsely shredded Mozzarella. Wish I'd had it to sprinkle on the burgers. At least it's there for the chili.


Second supper, or high tea, or whatever it should be named, will be a baked crab cake. It was supposed to be the side for the flounder filets, but I minded my change. Calories and sodium are both under 900, carbs are under 50. According to the zig-zag diet philosophy, this is a great day to launch every zig - for great justice.
