I arrived at Waverly Med Center at 13:00, the usual half hour early, for paperwork's sake. It took less than 2 minutes, then I sat patiently, reading The Assassins of Thasalon by Lois McMaster Bujold on my littlest Kindle while I waited.

We discussed my low blood pressure - no problem unless it caused frequent dizziness. We discussed my blood sugar - my A1C is 5.2 and Heather said, "You are officially no longer a diabetic." Then she took it back, saying that it was totally controlled by diets and no meds. Since I stopped the Metformin, the A1C has gone down. I understand, and have understood for a long time that like an alcoholic, I am a recovering diabetic. One bag of Doritos is too many - 50 bags are not enough.

Next follow-up appointment in December.

Next medical appointment is for a prostate biopsy, later this month.
